“TAYLOR SWIFT – SPEAK NOW” TO AIR AS ONE-HOUR NBC PRIMETIME SPECIAL ON THANKSGIVING NIGHT

Fans can take a look inside Taylor’s Speak Now album – from the recording, to performances, to the behind-the-scenes of release week – on Thanksgiving night, when NBC will air the one-hour primetime special “Taylor Swift – Speak Now.” The program will follow Taylor on her journey from New York City to Los Angeles through interviews, events, and all the in-the-moment experiences of a four-time Grammy winner releasing brand new music, as well as showcase multiple one-of-a-kind performances (including a concert held 30,000 feet in the air as Taylor travels across the country).

Taylor’s official album release party will again be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, who will devote her entire one-hour show to the festivities on November 1st.

Taylor will make several other television appearances to launch the album, including:

The Today Show (NBC) – Tuesday, October 26th

The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) – Tuesday, October 26th

Live! With Regis & Kelly (ABC, syndicated) – Wednesday, October 27th

Dancing With the Stars (ABC) – Tuesday, November 2nd

Taylor is featured on the covers of the current issues of GLAMOUR and People magazine.

I will be on this! Taylor, thank you SO much for giving me the honor of winning the Speak Now contest. hanging out with you for a whole week was literally all I could ever ask for. You’re my idol, and I can’t even put into words how much I admire you!

Dear Taylor (the awesomest person ever),

I am a great, huge, awesomely ginormous fan of yours. I wanna start this message by saying everything in this entire message is 113% t-r-u-e! I’m writing this message for a reason: I really wanna meet you. I don’t care if it’s for 15 minutes, an hour, 2 minutes. I just wanna show you that even though I’m 13 and you’re 20, I can be worthy of your friendship (LOL that sounds so weird!). I really adore you. And to prove it, here is a paragraph telling you how much I wanna be like you and I want you to like me:
I went to your concert on May 14th, 2010 at Nassau Coliseum. I’ve asked my parents to move to Tennessee a trillion times, because I wanna grow up like you did. I’m gonna get your baby guitar from your online store, and teach myself how to play, because I wanna play your songs on it. When I’m eighteen, I’m planning on getting your signature tattooed on my right ankle in dark purple. I’ve spent over $300 on merchandise, CDs, books, etc. that have anything and everything to do with you. My lucky number is 13, because yours is. I have a Twitter account ALL about you, @TayAliSwiftFan. You have NO idea how many Swifties there are on there, by the way (my favorite Swifties are @SwiftThings and @T_SCanada). I pre-ordered the Diamond package of Speak Now, and I didn’t go to school on October 25th, 2010 so I could get the deluxe edition from Target. I lovelovelove that album SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!!!!!!
Yep, it’s all true. See? I just adore you! I know your birthday (December 13th). I know that you can’t live without watermelon sour patch kids. I also know that you love Grey’s Anatomy, and that your brother is about 2 years younger than you and his name is Austin, and he’s cute and a bit taller than you, and your parents are Scott and Andrea, and that your mother’s beautiful. One other thing I know? You fiddlist, Caitlin, your backup singer, Liz, and your bffs, Abigail and Kellie, are the luckiest people in the world. Why? Because they get to hang out with you, and you know them, and you get them presents for their birthdays! Me? Just one out of millions of fans that probably write the same kind of message to you.
If there’s a way to meet you or get your autograph, I’d love for you to email me? I love you, Taylor. God bless you, and have a wonderful life. You don’t have to respond. Just please believe and understand everything I have taken my time to write to you. Please.
    Love, forever and always,
    Sara <3<3<3 <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 ( 13 hearts!!)
